NYCC: Batwheels' Cast Brings the High Gear Antics to Cartoon Network – CBR – Comic Book Resources

In an interview with CBR at NYCC, the cast of Batwheels talk about bringing a high-octane, lighter approach to Gotham City in the animated show.
A fresh vision of Gotham City and the DC Universe is presented for younger audiences with the new animated series Batwheels, coming to Cartoon Network on Oct. 17 after a television special on HBO Max this past September. The show has the Batcomputer produce a line of sentient vehicles to assist the Bat Family in defending Gotham, with each of the vehicles developing personalities of their own as they grow into their self-awareness. Joining heroes like Duke Thomas (A.J. Hudson) are the sentient rides Bam (Jacob Bertrand), Wing (Lilimar), and Snowy the Snowcrawler (Xolo Maridueña) as they work together to keep the DCU safe.
The cast of Batwheels, including Bertrand, Hudson, Maridueña, and Lilimar — visited CBR's media room at New York Comic Con 2022 for an exclusive interview ahead of the animated series' premiere on Cartoon Network. The cast spoke about bringing a family-friendly edge to Gotham and its wider world, shared how they approached a coming-of-age tale for vehicles, and teased what fans can expect from the new animated show.
Developed for television by Michael G. Stern, Batwheels premieres Oct. 17 at 9 am ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
